Tutor Mentor Connect: Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Tutor Mentor Connect! These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our platform as a tutor, learner, or ambassador. By accessing or using our website, mobile application, or services, you agree to abide by the following terms:
"Platform" refers to Tutor Mentor Connect and its services, including the website and mobile app.
"Tutor" means any individual approved to offer tutoring or mentorship services via the platform.
"Learner" means any individual who books or attends tutoring sessions.
"Ambassador" refers to individuals enrolled in the referral/affiliate program.
"Parent/Guardian" refers to individuals who enroll or pay for learners under the age of 18.
"User" refers to any person accessing or using the platform.
Tutors must be 18 years or older and legally able to work in their jurisdiction.
Tutors must complete the application form and sign a freelance agreement before teaching.
Learners under the age of 18 must have consent and supervision from a parent or guardian.
Ambassadors must be 16 years or older and comply with their local laws on affiliate work.
Tutors must attend all mandatory online training, meetings, and check-ins as communicated.
Tutors will be added to official communication channels (e.g., WhatsApp group) and must not contact other tutors privately regarding Tutor Mentor Connect, unless written permission is granted.
Tutors are strictly prohibited from tutoring any Tutor Mentor Connect learners privately outside the platform. This restriction applies for one year after leaving the platform.
Tutors must maintain professionalism and respect toward all learners, guardians, fellow tutors, and the platform team.
Tutors must use only their approved curriculum and materials, unless otherwise agreed.
Learners must attend scheduled sessions on time and communicate any cancellations at least 12 hours in advance.
Learners must treat tutors with respect and uphold a positive learning environment.
Misconduct may lead to suspension or removal from the platform.
Parents/Guardians are responsible for monitoring sessions involving minors.
Parents/Guardians must ensure that learners under 18 behave appropriately during sessions.
Payments and disputes must be handled in accordance with platform guidelines.
Ambassadors must sign up through the official affiliate form.
Ambassadors may not make misleading claims or false representations about Tutor Mentor Connect.
Earnings are based on a 5% commission from referral bookings.
Ambassadors are responsible for maintaining ethical conduct and may be removed for policy violations.
Tutors will receive 70% of their booking fees.
Ambassadors (if applicable) receive 5% of revenue from their referrals.
The platform retains 25% as an administrative fee.
Payouts are made monthly on the 25th via PayPal or bank transfer, depending on the tutor’s location. This schedule may be revised to bi-weekly or weekly in future.
Minimum withdrawal amount is $30 USD / R500 ZAR.
All fees for tutoring sessions are set in advance and agreed upon during booking.
Learners must pay in full before attending a session.
Refunds are issued at the discretion of Tutor Mentor Connect based on cancellation and attendance policies.
Learners may access Tutor Mentor Connect services via the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
Tutors must ensure timely updates and session scheduling on the platform.
Users must keep their app updated and secure.
Tutors or learners must notify at least 12 hours in advance to cancel or reschedule a session.
Late cancellations or no-shows may result in reduced payment or forfeited session.
All content, branding, and digital assets remain the sole property of Tutor Mentor Connect.
Tutors may not reuse platform materials outside of sessions without permission.
All users must respect the privacy of others and refrain from sharing personal or sensitive information.
Unauthorized use of session content, images, or recordings is prohibited.
Tutor Mentor Connect reserves the right to terminate access of any user for violations of these terms.
Tutors may terminate their agreement with written notice, but must still adhere to post-termination restrictions (e.g., no direct tutoring of learners for one year).
Ambassadors and learners may request account removal by contacting support.
By using the platform, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
We take appropriate steps to secure personal information, but users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials.
Tutor Mentor Connect reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes indicates your acceptance.
